Everyone close to me would know the two things I love the most: coffee and the ocean. There’s just something about these two things that I gravitate towards. So having them both together in a cafe in Caoayan, Ilocos Sur, is an experience I wouldn’t want to miss. Alon Cafe ’21 provides just that and more.
Alon Cafe ’21: An Overview
For those who are unfamiliar, you can find the cafe along the boardwalk of Fuerte in Caoayan. Since my sister and I drove to Alon Cafe ’21, we arrived at the place quicker. But you can always commute by means of a tricycle. Based on their website, the cafe is open every Tuesday to Saturday from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
The cafe is very charming. There are a lot of rustic elements scattered throughout the coffee shop.
And the fact that you can see the beach and feel the cool breeze that comes from the ocean adds to the beauty of the place. So I would say the ambiance of the place is top-notch.
Food is Great!
We ordered several of their best sellers: tocilog, clubhouse, and shanghai. There are other snacks and rice meals to choose from, all of which are sold at very affordable prices.
They have iced and hot coffee options. If you’re not into caffeine, there are other options such as lemonade and cucumber lemonade.
On the Alon Cafe ’21 menu, you can also find liquor options. With its wide array of options for beverages, you can surely quench your thirst as you mingle with your friends and enjoy the stunning view of the beach.
Overall, I found their food to be delicious. Their clubhouse sandwich (pictured above) is a bestseller, and I could agree more. I love its presentation as well.
Their drinks were refreshing as well. The cucumber lemonade, in particular, was delicious. As per their coffee, I have yet to try their other options before I can say anything about it. The Spanish Latte I ordered was tasty, but I don’t think that it’s on par with some of the other Spanish lattes that I’ve tried.
Wrapping Up
Overall, Alon Cafe ’21 is a great place to visit in Caoayan, Ilocos Sur if you are looking for a place to unwind. Coffee by the beach is always a good experience, and having done it at this cafe is a chef’s kiss.
They really live up to their slogan – “The perfect place to relax, unwind, and have a sip of coffee.”
