Whenever there’s a chance to visit a cafe, I would grab that chance. There’s something about trying out the distinctive taste of coffee that excites me. So when I heard about this coffee shop in Bantay, Ilocos Sur, I immediately took my sister with me and headed to Tita Cory’s Cafe.
Tita Cory’s Cafe: An Overview
The cafe can be located at the ERP Building in Bantay, so it took us a quick three-minute drive from home. You can easily spot it beside a pharmacy since it sports its giant logo outside the cafe.
The interior design was mesmerizing. I can feel a strong European influence based on the furniture, the flooring, and the wall designs.
Tita Cory’s Cafe is well-lit and ventilated. It is comprised of several seats, allowing you to choose your desired place when you want to socially distance yourself from the other customers.
The counter bar itself is stunning as well. I live for the embellishments above the menu boards. Overall, I was thoroughly impressed by the interior so far. Very chic and sophisticated. And it also screams European.
For those who would prefer the open air, they have an al fresco area complete with stalls. Tita Cory’s Cafe is a perfect place when you head to the cafe from sunset onwards.
But if you went to this coffee shop when the sun is at its peak (like we did), then the inside is better.
Trying Out Its Food and Coffee
I was truly mesmerized by the place so far, but my sister and I would need to try their coffee and their food. For their coffee, I ordered one of their signature drinks. On the other hand, my sister ordered Iced Caramel Macchiato.
We loved their coffee. It’s the perfect blend of caffeine and sweetness. If I’d return to Tita Cory’s Cafe, it would be because of their coffee. They have several options for you to try. They have signature coffee options too.
If you are not fond of coffee, then you can still try their other beverages. They offer milk tea and fruit tea options, too. I’d gladly return to try these out.
They have several food options: pasta, egg dishes, takoyaki, rice dishes, and pastries, among others. We ordered their fries, carbonara, and their red velvet cake. I love their cake. It’s not too sweet, but it’s flavorful.
Their pasta, however, leaves too much to be desired. But I can only say that to the carbonara. I have yet to return to try their other pasta options.
Wrapping Up
Overall, I was thoroughly impressed by Tita Cory’s Cafe. They dub themselves as the new innovative coffee shop, which they really are. With a highly aesthetic interior and an array of Western and Asian cuisine, I’m pretty sure your cravings will be satisfied here.
